About Us
Our Story of Fixing Feet
Opened in 2017 by MP Sajid Javid, Elmscroft Podiatry is owned by Emma Clarke who named the business after the name of her house.
Before opening the practice, Emma worked at the town's GP Surgeries and saw patients at her home as well as undertaking home visits.
Bromsgrove has a good sense of community in the town, and the location is central, opposite Waitrose and has a treatment room at ground level for easy access for patients.

Meet The Team
All Podiatrists at Elmscroft have undergone a 3 year Podiatry Degree and are registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council). Members of The Royal Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists and are criminally checked.

Emma Clarke
BSc Hons, MChs, HCPC Registered
In addition to setting up Elmscroft Podiatry in Bromsgrove, Emma has worked across a variety of clinics in doctor’s surgeries, natural health centres, retirement villages and homeless shelters where the ability to be flexible is key.
Alongside her clinical role, Emma is currently working as research officer for independent practice for The Royal College of Podiatry which has given a greater insight and understanding of the world of podiatry.
She also has a degree in Communication Studies and worked at the BBC in her previous career which enforces Emma's believe that having a strong working relationship with her patients is paramount when diagnosing and treating the lower limb.
Emma regularly presents at Women’s Institute and specialist interest groups and has a specialist interest in forensic podiatry.

Joanne Clarke
Office Manager
Jo juggles a lot of balls at Elmscroft Podiatry! She keeps our patient database and clinical software running smoothly and is the friendly voice at the end of our booking line.
If you have a specific or more detailed question regarding a treatment, Jo can arrange for one of our podiatrists to call you to discuss it further.
We value our patients and are happy to talk through any foot concerns that may be troubling you.

Izzie Dawes
BSc Hons, MChs, HCPC Registered
Before I came into this profession I worked as a medicine counter assistant in a pharmacy for
over a year. I dealt with prescription handling, customer service skills and gained some
knowledge in various POM medications and over the counter medications. This strangely helped
to play a vital role when training to become a podiatrist, as we are certified in sell and supply
certain medications. Since becoming a podiatrist in 2022 from Wolverhampton university, I have
worked at Elmscroft Podiatry for the past 3 years. Whilst studying I worked at the practice in the
capacity as a podiatry assistant. By working at the practice as a podiatry assistant, it allowed to
delve into the knowledge I was beginning to develop. It also allowed me to understand the world
of private practice better. Since working at Elmscroft as a podiatrist I have been able to further
my skills. By offering a wide range of treatments from routine treatment, verruca treatments, nail
surgery, right through to biomechanics.
I now focus more on the home visit side of the podiatry business. Please phone our receptionists who will forward me your details for your initial visit
